Have you ever heard of a Reverse Advent Calendar? In short, it's a Food Drive!

 

A Reverse Advent calendar focuses on giving something instead of receiving – a Christ centered idea indeed – since Christmas is all about God giving himself to us as a baby.

 

See the list in the PDF to the right: each day of Advent corresponds to a common food item, toiletry, hygiene product, etc, that is probably already in your cupboard. On that day, seek out the item in question and place it in a box or a bag.

 

Bring your haul of items in to St. John's every Sunday! We will deliver your donations to The Renewal Food Bank every week!!
