St. John's Choir
Join a community of voices helping shape worship each week.
About Our Choir
St. John's choir is a welcoming group of singers who help lead worship through music each week.
Together, we make music in praise and support the life of our congregation through song and prayer.
Over the past year, the choir has shared in meaningful moments across the church year, especially during Holy Week, from the joy of Palm Sunday to the depth and reflection of the Passion and the celebration of Easter.
Music plays an important role in helping us engage more fully in worship, creating space for reflection, prayer, and connection.

A Living Ministry
Like many ministries, the choir changes over time. In the past year, we’ve said goodbye to some members of our choir family, and we’re currently looking to welcome new voices.
We especially encourage men to consider joining, but all are welcome.

Special Music & Seasonal Offerings
Throughout the year, the choir helps lead special services and musical offerings.
One example is Return to Me, a musical reflection on the Stations of the Cross, shared during Holy Week. This meditative piece brings together music, scripture, and prayer to create a powerful and reflective experience.
Looking Ahead
The music ministry continues to grow and evolve. One future goal is the development of a handbell choir, which will expand opportunities for participation and add new dimensions to worship.

Join the Choir
If you enjoy singing and are wanting to join a church choir in the Kirkland area, you are warmly invited to join the choir. The choir is part of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Kirkland, Washington, and welcomes singers from across the community.
No audition is required, and you don’t need prior experience, just a willingness to participate and be part of the community.
The music ministry is sustained by the energy and participation of the congregation. Together, we continue to create a vibrant and meaningful worship experience through music.
