Comprised of meditations written by members of our own parish, our Eastertide Devotions may be used as the basis for daily personal reflections and group discussion in our Zoom Morning Prayer Services during the 50 days between Easter and Pentecost, excluding Sundays.

 

Eastertide is a joyful season celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. It's a time when the Paschal greeting ("Christ is risen!" "He is risen indeed!") is reflected in the liturgy, hymns, prayer practices, and white and gold colors of the season; the Paschal (Christ) Candle is present and lighted during worship.
