Children & Youth
A welcoming place for children to grow in faith, curiosity, and community.
Families are an important part of life at St. John’s, and we’re glad you’re here.
Growing in faith, together
At St. John’s, children are welcomed, valued, and included in the life of the church. We offer age-appropriate opportunities for children to learn, explore, and experience faith in ways that are engaging, creative, and grounded in our shared traditions.
Nursery (Birth to Age 4)
A friendly, toy-filled, staffed nursery is available for our youngest children.
Our goal is to provide a safe, caring environment where children can play and feel at ease while families participate in worship.
Children’s Program (Ages 5–5th Grade)
Children explore Bible stories and Christian life through a mix of hands-on and storytelling-based experiences, including:
-
Godly Play
-
Creative activities (crafts, skits, videos)
-
Occasional themed programs like “Building Faith Brick by Brick”
This approach helps children engage their imagination while learning the foundations of faith.
You are welcome here!
Whether your family is new to church or has been part of a church for years, we aim to create a space where children feel comfortable, parents feel supported, and everyone can participate at their own pace.
Children and youth at St. John’s learn, create, and grow in community through shared stories, hands-on activities, and moments of discovery together.
