On December 18 2022, our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Gregory Rickel, made his final public appearance before his retirement. Rev. Rickel presided over the service and provided a powerful homily in which he reflected on the concept of "gift disappointment." The Gospel was read by The Venerable Gen Grewell, Archdeacon of the Diocese of Olympia.
