You are invited to explore the deep, spiritual, theological, and liturgical meanings of Advent, the first season of the Church’s Liturgical Year. The series will be a team presentation that takes place online via Zoom over three consecutive Wednesdays November 10th, 17th, and 24th. • On Wednesday, November 10th, Canon John Fergueson will explore and discuss the spiritual, psychological, and theological themes of Advent.  Debi Laughlin will explore and discuss the “O Antiphons” of Advent.

• On Wednesday, November 17th, Deacon Missy Couch will explore and discuss the symbols of Advent.  Fr. Michael Ryan will explore and discuss connections between the Eschaton (Jesus coming again) and the Justice of God.

• On Wednesday, November 24th at 7pm, there will be an online group exploration of the questions raised and implications for our lives based on what we learned in the previous sessions.

The meetings of the series will begin at 7:00 pm. A question/answer/discussion period will take place between 8:00-8:30 pm, followed by Compline.
