2013 GKEP VBC
Each year our Greater Kirkland Ecumenical Parish (GKEP) offers a fun and exciting Vacation Bible Camp for all children ages 4 through 12. For this popular annual event St. John's partners with Holy Family Church in Kirkland and Lake Washington United Methodist Church in Kirkland. We rely on the various talents and strengths generously offered by adult and youth volunteers from each church to help make it a success.
This year the theme is Athens™, where kids follow Paul on his journey to share the truth. Through rotation stations, kids "time-travel" back to ancient Athens! In a small group of up to 10 (called an Oikos), kids meet Paul and learn about his jaw-dropping experiences, go to the Arena Games for fun Olympic “training,” and visit the busy Athenian Marketplace for snacks and activities.
VBC will be at Lake Washington United Methodist Church in Kirkland July 15-19, 2013. Registration begins April 2. Forms are due by June 14. |
