Question: What’s one of the largest dioceses of The Episcopal Church? Answer: Haiti
That’s right. The Diocese of Haiti, home to nearly 100,000 Episcopalians, is not a foreign diocese, but a member of The Episcopal Church just like our diocese.
The earthquake of January 2010 wiped out 70% of Episcopal Church buildings in Haiti, but now they’re building back. And you can help.
Starting April 15th and spreading over the next 8 weeks St. John's will join churches across our diocese to help roll away the debris and rebuild Holy Trinity Cathedral, the spiritual center of the Episcopal Church in Haiti.
It’s the beginning of rebuilding the nation of Haiti, and you can be part of it.
