First Communion
The Holy Eucharist has at times been called the Sacrament of Nourishment. Since being instituted by our Lord Jesus nearly two thousand years ago, this major Sacrament has satisfied the spiritual hunger of millions of Christians with a wonderful sustaining power. It is our privilege as parents to share with our children the remarkable joy of the Holy Communion with our Lord Jesus Christ. To that end, St. John’s offers a First Communion course for young people.  Interested parents and their children meet with Fr. Scot usually on the Saturday following Ash Wednesday for an orientation of the course and information on First Communion Sunday which customarily falls on the first Sunday in May.  Please contact Fr. Scot if you have any questions and for registration
